He graduated from Colorado State in Economics and Business Administration and worked for two years with Reformed University Fellowship at the University of Florida. While working for RUF, Matt met Callie, another RUF intern from Texas, and they married in June 2011. Matt and Callie moved to Charlotte, NC to attend Reformed Theological Seminary where Matt graduated with his MDiv in May 2015. Matt was called as the Assistant Pastor of Coram Deo Church in Spokane, WA, where he served for over three years. Before being called to Cornerstone, Matt also served as the Pastoral Assistant of a PCA church plant back in Colorado Springs.
The Bostroms love the great outdoors, the cozy indoors, and connecting with folks over a meal or a good cup of coffee. Their son Mark loves Legos, books, and any type of adventure. Matt enjoys reading fantasy fiction, bike riding, coin collecting, and playing disc golf in his free time.
Our Deacons
The Bible also calls for each church to have deacons (1 Tim 3). While elders govern the church, deacons minister to the physical needs of the church. They care for the members of the church, organize mercy efforts, and watch over the church property.
Deacons: Mike Brunner, Scott Cline, Barry Hoffman
If you would like to get in contact with the deacons, please email the office.
Our Elders
The Bible calls for each church to be led by elders, a group of men elected from the congregation. The elders are called to shepherd, teach, and pray for the church. Session meetings are open to the public, but please email Matt before attending; meeting times often change!
Elders (from L to R): Dave Almack, Matt Bostrom, Ron Ridenour, Andrew Ward, Matt Prine, Dan Ledford, Kevin Chamberlin, Dave Borghesani, Tom McMahon, and Eric Johnson (not pictured due to sabbatical- Tom Szarawarski).
