Ross and Angela Floyd in Latin America

About the Floyds:

The Missions Team were introduced to the Floyds in 2020 and were quite impressed with their backgrounds and passion. They met each other at college in Georgia and married in 2007. They have both desired to serve as missionaries in Latin America. Angela went on many short term mission trips and Ross served at an orphanage in Lima, Peru. They also believe the Lord has called them to serve in an urban setting.

In 2015 they began their 1st term as missionaries in Bogota, Columbia. While there, the Lord blessed them with the longing of their hearts- their son Owen. Also during their time in Columbia, the Floyds grew spiritually and in their ability to come along side their national partners, serve their local church and built community within their church and the surrounding community.

It became possible for the Missions Team to support them in the summer of 2021. The Floyds moved to Panama in the late summer of 2021 and will be in training, getting adjusted to life in Panama City as well as getting acquainted with the people and culture. Their focus will be to expand their calling to reach people with the gospel, build community, and walk along side those who desire to Grow in their faith through discipleship. Please pray for them as they help to grow God’s kingdom in this vibrant international city.
